For active property damage, call and share the ZIP, the type of damage, and whether the source has been stopped. For a non-urgent assessment, send the property address, a description of the affected rooms, and photos if available.
We’ll review your request and confirm the next step based on the site conditions and our schedule.
Tell us if water came from above or entered at ground level. With a roof or window leak, include the rooms directly below it and when the opening was secured. With rising outdoor water, share which entry points and building materials were reached.
If wind damage, debris, or a road closure is limiting access, report that when you call. When the cause needs roofing, electrical, or other trade work, share what has been arranged so cleanup can be planned around it.
If a damaged roof is still letting in water, have the opening evaluated by the appropriate trade. Share the repair or temporary protection status with Serve Xpert so we can plan the interior cleanup.
The Maryland Department of the Environment provides flood-map information for property owners and renters. Use the property address when reviewing the map.
