-
Serve Xpert estimates are based on visible and reasonably accessible conditions observed at the time of inspection or site visit, along with customer-provided information when applicable.
An estimate is intended for pricing and service-planning purposes only unless a separate paid documentation service is approved in writing.
Estimates are valid for seven calendar days after receipt unless otherwise stated in writing. Delayed approval may require a new site visit, updated estimate, revised pricing, revised scope, or additional inspection fee.
Approval of an estimate alone does not reserve a service date or authorize work to begin. Services cannot be scheduled, reserved, or performed until the required authorization has been completed, any required deposit or approved financing has been received, and Serve Xpert confirms the project date.
Serve Xpert may provide a free initial visual estimate for visible restoration or remediation concerns when the purpose is to review the affected area and provide pricing for possible service.
A free estimate is limited to visible, reasonably accessible conditions and is intended for service pricing only. It is not a written inspection report, legal-ready report, insurance report, testing service, clearance report, environmental determination, or full property assessment.
Paid inspections may be required when the customer requests written findings, detailed documentation, multiple areas, hidden-condition review, legal-ready documentation, insurance-specific documentation, advanced moisture review, odor investigation, HVAC-related review, added areas, reinspection, or a report that can be used for records beyond basic pricing.
A paid basic inspection may include visible-condition review, photo documentation, general observations, limited moisture readings when applicable, and basic recommendations.
A paid advanced inspection may include more detailed documentation, expanded photo records, moisture-related indicators, odor observations, material condition notes, access limitations, findings summaries, and more formal recommendations.
Free estimates, paid inspections, and advanced reports do not include laboratory testing, mold species identification, air sampling, surface sampling, destructive investigation, engineering opinions, legal opinions, code determinations, occupancy determinations, medical opinions, or environmental clearance unless specifically arranged through a qualified independent third party.
Serve Xpert estimates are prepared to identify the recommended scope, affected areas, service category, pricing, exclusions, assumptions, payment options, and next steps based on the information available at the time of estimate preparation.
Estimate pricing is based on visible and accessible conditions, currently understood scope, normal access to work areas, available field information, documented findings, labor, equipment, materials, site protection, project coordination, and the approved service category.
Concealed conditions, restricted access, additional affected areas, customer-requested changes, third-party requests, insurance requests, or conditions discovered after approval may require revised pricing, additional authorization, and a signed change order.
Serve Xpert may provide basic inspection reports, advanced inspection reports, condition summaries, photo documentation, professional findings, and restoration or remediation-related recommendations.
A basic inspection is limited to visible and reasonably accessible conditions, general visual observations, basic condition documentation, photo documentation when applicable, and preliminary restoration or remediation-related recommendations.
An advanced inspection may include more detailed visible-condition documentation, moisture-related indicators, odor observations, material condition notes, microbial-like observations, access limitations, photo documentation, findings summaries, and preliminary recommendations.
Inspection reports do not authorize mitigation, remediation, demolition, cleaning, treatment, repairs, reconstruction, or additional work. Any corrective work requires a separate written estimate, approved scope, signed authorization, and any required deposit, payment, or financing approval.
Inspection findings are limited to conditions visible and reasonably accessible at the time of inspection.
Concealed areas, obstructed spaces, wall cavities, ceiling cavities, subfloor areas, cabinet interiors, HVAC interiors, duct interiors, crawlspaces beyond safe access, attic areas beyond safe access, exterior assemblies, and other inaccessible areas may contain conditions not visible during inspection.
Unless specifically authorized in writing, inspections do not include destructive investigation, invasive inspection, full property mapping, advanced instrumentation, laboratory testing, air sampling, surface sampling, mold species identification, engineering review, code inspection, electrical inspection, plumbing diagnosis, HVAC mechanical diagnosis, roofing evaluation, waterproofing evaluation, structural evaluation, or concealed-condition investigation.
Serve Xpert inspection reports and estimate documents are prepared using factual, evidence-based, restoration-related observations.
Findings may describe what was observed, documented, noted, measured, visible, present, accessible, or recorded. Analysis may describe what conditions are consistent with, indicative of, suggest, support, appear to show, or most likely relate to based on available information.
Serve Xpert does not identify mold species unless laboratory confirmation is provided by a qualified third party. Serve Xpert does not make medical, health, legal, engineering, laboratory, code, or occupancy conclusions.
If information is not stated, not supported, or cannot be reasonably concluded, Serve Xpert may omit it, mark it as unavailable when appropriate, or require additional inspection, testing, documentation, or third-party evaluation.
Serve Xpert inspection reports are not health assessments, laboratory analyses, mold species identifications, environmental clearances, engineering opinions, structural determinations, legal determinations, insurance coverage decisions, code compliance determinations, occupancy determinations, or confirmations of hidden, concealed, future, or changed conditions.
Serve Xpert does not provide legal advice, assign legal responsibility, determine landlord or tenant rights, determine code compliance, determine whether a property is fit or unfit for occupancy, provide medical advice, diagnose exposure, or determine health risk.
Where concerns are observed or suspected, Serve Xpert may recommend evaluation by the appropriate qualified professional.
Inspection findings are time-sensitive. Moisture conditions, microbial-like conditions, odors, staining, material deterioration, contamination concerns, and environmental conditions can change after inspection because of weather, active leaks, humidity, HVAC operation, ventilation, occupancy, cleaning, repairs, work by others, movement of contents, delayed corrective action, or additional water or moisture intrusion.
Delayed authorization of corrective services may require Serve Xpert to re-evaluate the property, revise recommendations, revise pricing, revise scope, or perform a new site visit based on then-current conditions.
Return inspections, updated reports, revised estimates, supplemental documentation, legal-ready documentation, insurance-specific formatting, expanded review, or additional inspection services are not included unless specifically stated in writing and may require an additional professional service fee.
A final paid inspection report may be used by the customer for personal records, property-owner communication, landlord or tenant communication, insurance review, real estate review, legal review, contractor coordination, or other reasonable documentation purposes.
The report must be used in full and may not be altered, selectively edited, misrepresented, separated from its limitations, separated from related context, or presented without related photo documentation when applicable.
All photos, notes, observations, measurements, findings summaries, report language, formatting, recommendations, preliminary protocol language, annotations, layouts, and related work product prepared by Serve Xpert remain proprietary work product of Serve Xpert.
Unpaid drafts, unreleased documentation, internal notes, preliminary findings, and related work product may not be copied, forwarded, submitted, relied upon, distributed, repurposed, used to obtain competing bids, copied into another contractor’s proposal, or presented as another company’s work without Serve Xpert’s written consent.
Serve Xpert’s obligations are limited to the approved scope of work listed in the estimate, signed agreement, inspection report when applicable, and any signed change orders.
Any service, area, material, task, customer expectation, insurance request, third-party request, added cleaning, added treatment, return visit, supplemental documentation, optional add-on, alternate scope, or additional condition not specifically included in writing is excluded.
Additional services require written approval and may require revised pricing, additional payment, and schedule adjustment.
The customer is responsible for payment for services rendered, scheduled, mobilized, authorized, or incurred according to the approved estimate, signed agreement, inspection report terms when applicable, and final invoice.
Payment obligations are not conditioned on insurance approval, insurance payment timing, third-party reimbursement, real estate transaction status, financing approval, legal dispute, landlord reimbursement, tenant reimbursement, or outside-party delays.
Deposits may be required before scheduling, mobilization, equipment allocation, labor reservation, or material procurement. Deposits may become non-refundable once labor, equipment, materials, scheduling, or mobilization costs are allocated.
Final payment is due according to the signed agreement and invoice terms.
Serve Xpert may accept cash, check, wire transfer, credit card, debit card, third-party financing, and approved electronic or mobile payments.
Direct payment methods such as cash, check, wire transfer, Zelle, or approved equivalent payment methods may be accepted at the base service price when allowed and stated in the approved estimate or invoice.
Credit card, debit card, and financing transactions may be subject to applicable taxes, processing fees, service fees, lender requirements, or transaction charges as stated in the approved estimate, invoice, payment notice, or signed agreement.
Applicable taxes depend on the project location and current tax requirements. Delaware projects may be treated differently because Delaware is generally sales-tax exempt.
Once services have been scheduled, mobilized, authorized, or performed, charges are final except as required by law or specifically stated in a signed written agreement.
Payments apply to authorized labor, materials, equipment allocation, mobilization, administrative processing, project coordination, and services performed.
Serve Xpert may provide documentation for insurance-related records, including photos, notes, readings, logs, service records, estimates, invoices, Certificates of Completion, inspection reports, and completion summaries when applicable.
Serve Xpert does not represent the insurance carrier and does not control coverage decisions, claim approvals, payment timing, claim outcomes, or carrier determinations.
Insurance-related documentation is provided for customer records and service clarity. The customer remains responsible for payment according to the signed agreement and invoice.
Serve Xpert does not provide mold testing, air sampling, surface sampling, laboratory analysis, industrial hygiene services, clearance testing, post-remediation verification, odor clearance, biohazard verification, smoke or soot residue testing, environmental safety determinations, or property-wide clearance unless specifically stated through a qualified independent third-party provider.
Any testing, clearance, post-remediation verification, environmental assessment, laboratory analysis, or occupancy-related determination must be performed by an independent third party retained by the customer.
Serve Xpert does not certify that a property is mold-free, contamination-free, pathogen-free, odor-free, smoke-free, soot-free, allergen-free, or approved for occupancy.
Serve Xpert may provide cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, antimicrobial treatment, antimicrobial fogging, decontamination, or odor control when appropriate for the service type, affected materials, site conditions, product label directions, and written scope.
Sanitizing, disinfecting, decontamination, antimicrobial treatment, or fogging are not included in every project unless specifically stated in the approved estimate, written scope, or signed agreement.
Serve Xpert does not claim medical, surgical, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or sterile-environment sterilization as part of standard restoration services.
Product use is subject to label directions, surface compatibility, site conditions, safety requirements, and service limitations. Results may depend on material type, contamination level, access, source correction, ventilation, cleaning completeness, and conditions outside Serve Xpert’s control.
Porous materials affected by moisture, odor, microbial-like growth, organic surface contamination, rot, contamination, or deterioration may not be restorable through surface cleaning alone.
Non-restorable porous materials may include drywall, insulation, carpet, padding, particleboard, MDF, cabinet backing, trim, ceiling materials, contents, and other moisture-sensitive materials.
Where these materials are visibly affected, odor-affected, deteriorated, contaminated, or suspected to contain concealed contamination, removal may be required.
Painting, sealing, wiping, spraying, or coating affected porous materials does not remove embedded contamination, moisture-damaged material, concealed growth, or odor reservoirs.
Customers are responsible for providing clear access to work areas, maintaining required utilities, disclosing known hazards, keeping occupants and pets away from active work zones, and following project instructions.
Customers must not move, unplug, shut off, alter, or interfere with drying equipment, filtration equipment, containment, barriers, negative air machines, air movers, dehumidifiers, or other equipment.
Customers are responsible for correcting underlying sources of damage, including plumbing leaks, roof leaks, moisture intrusion, humidity concerns, drainage problems, HVAC-related issues, pest activity, odor sources, storm openings, biohazard sources, fire or smoke sources, or other contributing conditions.
Serve Xpert services cannot provide lasting results if source conditions, environmental conditions, or contributing causes are not corrected.
Serve Xpert services do not include testing, abatement, or removal of regulated hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead-based paint, or other regulated materials unless specifically contracted in writing.
If suspected hazardous materials are discovered, work in the affected area may stop until the condition is reviewed or addressed by the appropriate qualified party.
Serve Xpert may photograph, video record, measure, document, and record project conditions for service documentation, quality control, insurance-related records, internal records, training, payment support, and project files.
Documentation reflects site conditions at the time of observation and does not constitute a full structural assessment, engineering report, environmental inspection, causation report, clearance document, or property-wide condition report.
Document re-issuance, document resubmission, revised reports, custom reports, supplemental documentation, insurance-specific revisions, third-party forms, legal-ready documentation, photo organization, captioning, expanded summaries, or non-standard administrative requests may require additional fees unless specifically included in writing.
Photos or videos will not be publicly shared without written consent.
A Certificate of Completion confirms that Serve Xpert completed the authorized restoration, mitigation, remediation, cleaning, treatment, drying, stabilization, or related services for the specific approved work areas and scope.
A Certificate of Completion does not certify that the entire property is free from mold, moisture, contamination, odor, damage, defects, or future risk.
It is not a clearance document, mold-free certification, health assessment, environmental inspection report, engineering report, or third-party verification document.
Serve Xpert may provide a limited workmanship warranty when applicable to the project.
Warranty terms depend on the service performed, site conditions, source correction, moisture control, customer responsibilities, full payment, and the written agreement.
Any warranty applies only to the specific serviced areas and authorized scope of work. No warranty applies to unresolved moisture sources, concealed conditions, future leaks, humidity or ventilation issues, HVAC-related conditions, customer-maintained conditions, work altered by others, or areas not directly serviced by Serve Xpert.
Full warranty details appear in the signed service contract.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in fees based on labor reserved, equipment allocation, materials, travel, scheduling impact, and project preparation.
Serve Xpert may reschedule appointments because of unsafe weather, hazardous site conditions, emergency demand, access issues, or conditions that prevent the work from being performed properly.
Serve Xpert offers emergency response for urgent restoration, mitigation, remediation, cleanup, odor, storm, water, fire, mold, sewage, and biohazard-related situations.
Response time depends on property location, weather, traffic, technician availability, access, service type, urgency, safety conditions, and current schedule.
Emergency service availability does not guarantee immediate arrival, same-day service, acceptance of every project, or ability to perform all requested services under unsafe or unsuitable conditions.
Serve Xpert may decline, delay, pause, or reschedule service when site conditions, safety concerns, access issues, hazardous materials, weather, customer authorization, payment status, or project conditions prevent work from being performed properly.
Financing
Financing may be available through Wisetack for eligible projects.
Financing is subject to credit approval, lender terms, individual qualification, and project eligibility. Serve Xpert does not control lender decisions, approval amounts, interest rates, repayment terms, or financing outcomes.
Financing examples, estimated monthly payments, APR options, total interest, and total paid amounts may be shown in estimates when applicable. These figures are subject to lender approval, customer qualification, project pricing, tax requirements, and the financing terms available at the time of application.
